I have the answers in my head but dont know how to use them

by Mirrior of Smoke

OK bear with me as I try to describe this as it is still hard for me to understand.

The other day during a long sit with my self to self reflect I came up with many answers to problems I was facing (feelings of depression, not being motivated) but after that I have no desire or will to implement them in my life. Which makes me feel even worse.

I don't know if any one has some advice or has experienced similar things but your input is greatly appreciated.

Getting motivated
by: Kay

Thank you for contacting Positive Personal Growth. I can understand what you mean and I think sometimes its just making the effort that's the problem. I believe we get set in our ways, and sometimes even though we would like to change and know what we should be doing we can't be bothered or don't seem to want to make the effort.

I feel it's our ego that wants to keep us safe and secure inside our comfort zone. It's over protective and doesn't want us to make the effort to change, maybe there's a knot of fear also there that prevents us.

What can you do? I can help by sharing my beliefs. I believe we have an inner spirit inside that is not part of the ego. It is our inner spirit or 'wise voice' that speaks to us and knows what it is we need to better ourselves. However because it is easier we tend to let the ego override this voice. When you want to change listen to the inner voice, this is the one that knows best!

Your inner reflection was contact with your inner voice. Meditation is a great way to learn more about what you have to do to help yourself in your life.

When you have the right attitude and become motivated you will know how to use the answers your inner spirit has given you.
