Family problems.
by: Anonymous

This is a more common than anyone realises. Family members can get sidelined after rather bitter interaction between family members especially if the sidelined person has supported another family outcast.
All that you and other family friends can do is to support your mother as much as possible. She will have some friends who may be very disgusted as to what is going on.
If family members are going to be nasty to her, she is better off without them in the end.
