I'm a good student, I passed 2nd puc with distinction I also got good marks in common entrance test in 2009. I took medical because of my family force. After joining it seemed too difficult for me, so I was afraid of that and I lost one year. Again I came to study this subject this year but now I don't want to attend the class because of fear. What I can do?

Fear
by: Kay

Thank you for contacting Positive Personal Growth. When you have thoughts that are filled with fear, the end result is not good. More often than not failure comes as the result of fearful thoughts. Unless you can get on top of these thoughts, and see them for what they are, just thoughts in your head, and change them into thoughts of "I can do this" you aren't going to be happy with your results.

I am not sure whether you want to have a medical profession, and if not this might be why you are not doing very well? I am also not sure of your age, whether you are of an age that you can take your future into your own hands and do something you truly want to do, which should give you the determination to succeed.

I do know that you cause your own failure with negative thinking and so I would ask you to have a think about this and notice the thoughts you are telling yourself, because it is these that form your life. Each time you have negative, or fearful one, let it go and put positive words into its place.

However if in your heart you do not want a medical profession, then listen closely to your heart, ask the wise person you have inside what you should do. Your inner voice speaks the truth.

Good luck.

Love
Kay
