So I've been wanting to backflip for 2 months on flat ground on my own. I went to open gyms but even with mats I was scared at that time!!
But then I didn't go to open gyms for two weeks and all I did was imagine myself landing them none stop and feeling great about it, and telling myself how easy this movement is it's just jump up and tuck your legs in.
then finally after two weeks I went to open gym. I tried it into the foam pit and with no fear at all man!!!!! I did it onto a flat mat which I was scared of before, then on flat ground with no fear at all man!!! It felt so great then I ran outside and did it on the grass!!!! And that's my success story.
