Do you have an annoying little voice inside your head that keeps saying that you mustn't do this, don't do that, or you have no confidence?

Did you know that this little voice wants to keep you safe and secure, it wants to stop you stepping outside your comfort zone. Why? Because you might fail, and then what would happen? You might get more upset, and then this little voice will let you know how wrong you were for trying to do what it said you wouldn't be able to. This makes your confidence really low and prevents you from trying new things.

Does this sound familiar? What would you say if I told you that you have a choice in what your annoying voice tells you? You might say that it's always there and that's why you listen to it.

I would like to put it to you that you can choose your own thoughts. You can choose to have a helpful, supportive inner voice, one that tells you to have a go, and doesn't say horrible things to you when you fail, but says well done for trying, and lets you know that the next time you may do even better.

When you truly believe that, yes, you can change your thoughts and put the 'I can do this' thought into action you will find that you will be able to achieve much more in your life.

Negative thoughts bring negative results, positive thoughts will bring positive results. You hold the power within you to change the way you think about yourself, the power to be confident, to be able to live your life in the way you choose.

Decide today to replace your annoying inner voice with a totally updated version, a brand new positive inner voice. One that is full of support and confidence. One that wants only the best for you, and doesn't try to hold you back when you decide to try something new.

When you begin to listen and act on what it says your life will change and you will become the way you want.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a merry Christmas and a positive new year. May all your dreams be fulfilled in 2009.

Love light and rainbows,
