l have no confidence its holding me back

I am a singer in a band and we have just split up. I used to sing on my own before the band but with great results, that's why I can not understand why I have lost all confidence in doing it alone. I feel so low and depressed and find it difficult just getting up in the morning. What can I do to bash down this brick wall I feel I've come up to.

I have no confidence its holding me back

When you have been with a group of people and that group splits up, it is an event change.
You have got used to working with that group and have felt comfortable with them. You have supported each other and now you have to go it alone.
It would be a good idea to try for a spot in a concert or entertainment group where you try a single item to see how that goes or go to whoever may have given you singing lessons. There is a way of getting around it. Maybe you miss the closeness you may have had with the group or else there may have been some discord which made you feel bad.
Find someone to talk about it to.

No confidence

How you are is the result of your own thoughts. Everything you do is the result of a thought. No one can choose them but you. When you aren't happy with how you are you hold the key to changing. No one can do this for you, only you.

How is this done? By changing the thoughts you have about yourself. Self talk is vital, it has to be positive, it has to be loving towards you. You can change if you make the effort. Stop today with all the negative thoughts you have, change them to positive.

Let yourself know that you are a good singer, believe this to be so and then move forward in your life in the way that you choose.

Good luck
Love,
Kay
