Help Yourself and Make Your Dream Come True

You can help yourself and your personal development by deciding once and for all to make your dream a reality.

Do you have big dreams and great aspirations? Is this all they remain – dreams, with the aspirations tucked away inside your mind collecting dust?

Everyone, at some point of his or her life, has dreamed of being somebody special, somebody big. Have you fantasized about being the one who hits the game-winning homer? Or dreamed of being the homecoming queen? Do you ever dream of being rich, or successful or happy in a relationship?

Unfortunately this is what happens to events in our lives. Instead of experiencing exciting adventures, and making our dreams a reality, we get caught up in the humdrum of day to day living.

Do you know, your life can be so much better if you can only learn to aim higher.

The most common problem to setting your goals is the word impossible. Have you got hung up thinking you can't do this. It's too hard. It's too impossible. No one can do this.

If you limit yourself with self doubt, and self-limiting assumptions, you will never be able to break past what you deem impossible to help yourself. If you reach too far out into the sky without working towards your goal, you will find yourself clinging on to the impossible dream.

Write your goal down. When you do this it will make it more real for you, tuck it away in your pocket, wallet or purse, and take it out and read it at different times throughout the day. This will re-enforce what it is that you hope to achieve.

If you just dream towards your goal without working at it you will end up disappointed and disillusioned.

excellence When you have sheer desire and perseverance, your impossible dream can become a reality.

Thomas Edison once said that genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration. Nothing could be truer.

When you want to accomplish your dream there has to be hard work and discipline.

But take note that the 1% has to be a think-big dream, and not some easily accomplished one!

Remember the saying, “No pain, no gain”? It's true!

So dream on, don’t get caught up with your perceived limitations. Think big and work hard to attain those dreams.

As you step up the ladder of progress, you will discover it is possible to make your dream a reality.
